This apartment is located on the Oudegracht this is the most famous canal in the Dutch city of Utrecht. History
The buildings on the Oudegracht called "Meisjesstad" have been in use since 1939 for housing and social work of the Augustinian Sisters of St. Monica. The buildings were living and residential communities, meeting rooms and various office spaces, but the sisters themselves have lived in the adjacent building on Water Street for more than 20 years.
As the Sisters' numbers dwindled, it was decided in 2019 to sell some of the properties. Oudegracht 33 and 35 came on the market. The buildings on Oudegracht called "Girls Town" have been used since 1939 for housing and social work of the Augustinian Sisters of St. Monica.
