Schiedam, known for its historic architecture, canals and important role in the Dutch gin industry. The city is home to the tallest windmills in the world. These large windmills were historically used in the distillation process to grind grain. Schiedam has several museums, including the National Gin Museum and Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, which focuses on contemporary art and local history.

Layout
First floor: main entrance (at street level) with mailbox. Before entering the building; pay attention to the facade and window frames of the house: as if time has stood still!

1st floor: a private staircase leads you to the beautiful apartment, first to the hallway that gives access to the toilet and living room. Let's start in the incredibly beautiful living room located at the front of the apartment. You have a spectacular view of the Grote Markt of Schiedam and the beautiful city hall . Another nice detail here is the beautiful stained glass above the windows. The living room is furnished with a spacious corner sofa, coffee table, TV cabinet with TV and has a nicely decorated fireplace (for decoration) and a dresser where you can store your personal belongings and wines.

Further back in the house we enter the dining area; here there is a spacious dining table with seating for 6 people. Next to it is the beautiful open kitchen, well equipped with built-in appliances such as a combination oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, induction hob with extractor hood and lots of cabinets and drawers to store your cooking utensils and food. Very nice is that there is a small bar here with two bar stools; the ideal place for a drink!

2nd floor: The first bedroom is spacious; there is a king-size bed with nightstands and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom is also spacious; there is a king-size bed with bedside tables and a closet. Also located here is the first bathroom and the extra room with the washer and dryer.

3rd floor: On this floor there are also two rooms. The third room has a double bed and closet, and the fourth bedroom is set up as a home office; 2 desks and some bookcases. Also on this floor is the second spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, bathtub, sink with cabinet and mirror, and a third toilet. At the front is an additional room that offers some extra closet space (not suitable as a bedroom).

Through the stairs on the landing (from the 3rd floor) you reach the amazing roof terrace, the ideal place to enjoy the warmer summer months! From here you can enjoy the view over the city center of Schiedam.
