Layout
Undivided building consisting of a front and back house with a city garden behind it. The front house has three floors with an attic above. The rear house also consists of three floors with a storage attic above. The front and back houses are connected by a split level.

First floor
The entrance hall (7.7 m²) has marble tiles and Louis XVI-style stucco. On the left side of the hallway are three rooms. The antechamber (25 m²) has a high ceiling and a marble fireplace, both the ceiling and the fireplace wall are decorated with Louis XVI-style stucco. The front room is connected to a smaller intermediate room (19 m²) that is fully wallpapered. Behind it is the garden room (12 m²) with doors to the garden (35 m²). Against the rear facade of the rear house is a tiled kitchen (4.4 m²) which still has a historic sink and copper faucets. The two pumps were originally connected to a water cellar under the courtyard; they are not currently in use. Behind the kitchen is a spacious storage room (6.6 m²) and a compact cellar (2 m²). Separate toilet is located in the back house.

Second floor
The stairs to the second floor are located in the back house. On the second floor you will find a spacious dining kitchen (26 m²) overlooking the backyard and access to a small storage attic (5 m²) with oeil-de-boeuf window. A staircase leads to the spacious landing (12.5 m²) that provides access to a large front room (43.5 m²) with visible large medieval beams and a marble fireplace. The view of the Spaarne is, of course, fantastic! A new modern bathroom (7,7 m²) with a bath and separate shower and two sinks. Separate toilet. A small staircase gives access to a bedroom (25 m²).

Second floor
An open spiral staircase gives access from the second floor to the second floor. Here a spacious landing (18 m²) provides access to two bedrooms overlooking the Spaarne (both 17 m²). A small staircase leads to the storage attic (18 m²) in the back house where the central heating boiler and solar water heater are installed. Details
The house has many stairs and level differences because of the split level in the front and back house. This is charming but less suitable for people with limited mobility. Because of the size and layout and based on the zoning plan, home working is possible. The designation is Mixed 1. Unfortunately, hospitality is not an option due to climate constraints. Retail and home office are feasible. Ask about the possibilities.

Located on the Spaarne at the edge of the center of Haarlem, easily accessible by public transportation. Haarlem train station is a 20 minute walk. Paid parking (with permit) in the immediate vicinity. Parking garages de Appelaar and de Kamp are within walking distance.
